Welcome Back: We’re open, we’ve moved - and our award-winning ice cream is back too!
Well, we don’t know about you, but we’re so excited to be open & seeing all our wonderful customers once again – but in case you haven’t seen, we’ve also moved!
After over 12 years in our shop on St Andrew’s Street we’ve made a hop, a skip & a (small) jump into the Grand Arcade.
You’ll now find us nestled just to the left of John Lewis (which you may remember as Daniel Wellington, or the Pen Shop before that).
And don’t despair we’re still making our award-winning sheet chocolate by hand – which is definitely the freshest chocolate in Cambridge, if not the UK!
All your Chocolat Chocolat favourites are still available – and our award-winning ice cream is back!
Actually, we have a little secret…our ice cream isn’t really ice cream, it’s Gelato, which means no egg, less sugar, less fat, but even more flavoursome.
There’s also something not so secret about our ice cream, it’s ALL Gluten and Vegetarian whilst our sorbets are 100% Plant based, Nut & Dairy Free.
Our ice cream (or Gelato!) is handmade in Cambridge using luxury ingredients, such as Chocolate from Belgium, Hazelnuts from Piedmonte and Pistachios from Sicily (and only Pistachio, not bulked out with other nuts or added colouring as you see in cheaper ice creams).
If there’s only one flavour we think you should try it’s definitely our classic Chocolate ice cream…or maybe the Hazelnut…no the creamy yet fruity Passionfruit sorbet…hmm but what about Pistachio? It’s too hard to choose, maybe a 3 scoop ice cream is the way to go!
We know we keep mentioning award-winning but for a good reason, our Hazelnut ice cream was awarded stars in the prestigious Great Taste award – This means that we have three awards for our Hot Chocolate, Handmade chocolate and Ice Cream, a first for Cambridge.

Our Children’s Pop Up Chocolate Making Sessions are back over Autumn half term on Wednesday 27th October 2021. £10 per child.
