Chocolat Chocolat is looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our chocolate making team and to learn how to make, pack and present our famous chocolate.
This is an apprenticeship run by Chocolat Chocolat; you will receive on the job training, attend courses, follow online learning, undertake your own research and from the very first day you will be hands on. You will be supported by our founder and our chocolatier throughout your training.
Because there are no college courses that you can attend this apprenticeship means that you will not be required to attend college each week, but you will receive training and certificates from nationally recognised training providers.
Chocolatier training positions like this don't come up very often and we are looking for a candidate with enthusiasm and potential, previous experience isn't needed, but it might be helpful if you have an interest in food or baking.
As we make chocolate 7 days a week you will work 5 days across the week including some weekends.
The pay for this role will be above the minimum wage and therefore above the apprentice rate. There is the potential to see your wage increase as your skills and experience improve.
The length of the apprenticeship depends on how quickly you learn and gain your chocolate skills, but will be a minimum of a year and on completion the apprentice will be offered a full time position.
